No members of the Class of 2020 have yet provided profiles. July 18, 2020 - The Shelby County School system today held a "virtual" graduation ceremony substituting due to the COVID-19 pandemic for the in-person gatherings. Shelby County Board of Education member Althea Greene pronounced the awarding of diplomas to the graduates. Welcome new alumni! May 21, 2020, was the date scheduled for the East High School 70th Commencement Exercise with the Class of 2020 to have been graduated. Due to the coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic and the schools closing their physical facilities, the graduation ceremonies were suspended.
