The East High Sportsplex Running Track
For those who used to run on East's old "cinder" track, the new running surface is an exciting prospect. The red oval is made of a rubberized type of material, is banked slightly on the turns, and has four marked running lanes. Also in the picture is the backstop for a new softball or baseball field which is located near the student parking lot entrance. The houses in the background are on Walnut Grove Road.
