Numerous People Made "This is great" Comment
June 13, 2026 - A wonderful afternoon today visiting with good friends and new
acquaintances! Hundreds of alumni from the first 20 years of East High
graduations attended, got a look at the school's interior, had a good
barbecue lunch, heard some oldies music, a few danced, and a some won
great prizes.
Many thanks to Mason Ezzell (East High Class of 1962) who organized the event and did a terrific job Thank you also to those making donations for the prizes and to the volunteers who worked the check-in tables and the communicators who sent e-mail invitations and updates to their classes. Editor's
note: June 25, 2026 - I've now had a chance to look more closely at the
photographs from the multi-class reunion and there are so many people
to whom I missed saying hello, both old friends and those I've never met
before, as well as wishing I had more time for an in-depth conversation
with those
with whom I did get to talk. We were very blessed to attend East and
grow up in the era we did. God bless you and all our East High alumni
and my best wishes
