Elaine Altick [last updated October, 2005]
I am now living in Chattanooga, TN where I have been since August, 1991. My husband, John, retired from the Air Force at that time and we decided to live in Chattanooga since my sister, Diane Altick Rawlings (EHS Class of '69) lives here. Our daughter and her family live here also which means we can visit with our two grandchildren (Jacob and Sarah) all the time.
I am a seasonal tax preparer (somebody has to like to do that kind of work) and also am a bookkeeper out of my home. We love living in Chattanooga but are able to visit Memphis often since we still have family there.

I retired from FedEx in December 2003 and now enjoy golfing and traveling. I am currently working with the EHS Class of 1965 reunion committee to stage an age 60 Birthday Party for our class members. This birthday party will be a single night event held in May, June or July of 2007. Soon as I know more, I will communicate that information to you.

I currently live in Tuscaloosa, AL and have for the past 21 years. I am married to my second husband (over 31 years now) and between us we have 4 children, all grown and living in different parts of the country, except for our youngest child. I work as a Certified Registrar at our local hospital and my husband works for the State of Alabama. I would love to hear from former classmates, either by e-mail or a phone call.

Sam Brough [last updated April, 2007] [E-mail address updated August, 2007]
How do you distill 42 years of life into a paragraph or two... I'll try. After graduating from East, my band (The Coachmen) did a tour with The Kingsmen, Sam The Sham, and The Gentrys after our record release. Uncle Sam caught me not in school, so I abandoned music, spending 4 years in the USAF, touring Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Florda, Texas and California. I spent a lot of time at UT Knoxville, trying to get my head straight after the war. Primarily unsuccessful, I returned to Memphis and graduated Nursing school at Memphis State in 1978.
The thirty years since have been spent primarily nursing in Florida, the last 23 with my lovely wife, Deborah. We have been taking intermittent early retirement as often as financially possible. We spent four glorious years sailing around in a 40 ft. sailboat, and three RVing around the country before settling down somewhat. We now grow and sell orchids in Fort Myers, but will be retiring to Greenville, SC in the next year or so, once the greenhouse complex is completed in Greenville.
See ya' in August for our birthday (I will have already had mine!).

Roy Davis [last updated May, 1999] [E-mail address updated March, 2001]
After graduation I attended Vanderbilt University and Memphis State University, graduating in 1972 with a B.A. in economics. I entered the civil service in 1974 with what is now known as the Defense Marketing and Reutilization Agency in Memphis. In 1979 I transferred to Wiesbaden, Germay, where I met my current wife, Christel, who took me on in 1982 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Our daughter, Stephanie, was born in 1987. In 1984, I transferred to the Department of the Army and relocated to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. In 1988 I transferred to Kaiserslautern, GE, where I still reside. I am currently the Budget Officer, 21st Theater Support Command, Comptroller. I am the holder of the Achievement Award for Civilian Service, the Commander's Award for Civilian Service, and the Meritorious Award for Civilian Service. I'm in the middle of the umpteenth contingency operation (already cited for Desert Storm/Shield and Joint Endeavor (Bosnia-Herzogovina)).
I would love to hear from any of my classmates or others that I knew at East. However, I do not promise a quick response,as my normal e-mail traffic is daunting.

My husband and I have lived in Altamonte Springs, FL. which is just outside of Orlando since 1981. We have two daughters and five grandchildren. I worked for Aetna U.S. Healthcare for 20 years, retired for a few years, and went back to work for a former customer. I'm now Vice President of Business Development for a benefit administrator. We are tired of dodging the recent hurricanes but love living in Florida. My mom and sister live near Memphis so we do get back every couple of years. We had a great time at the 40th reunion and loved seeing everyone. Looking forward to 40+2.

Dick West
Retired after a wonderful life of work and travel. I have two grown children Clayton and Shelby. I spent thirty years in the Silver Jewelry business. I operated wholesale showrooms in New York and Atlanta. I kept the nickname Dick through my years as a hippie owner of multiple leather shops but changed to Richard when the jewelry world became more serious. I am so sorry to see so many class mates now passed. My old buddy Tim Eaton gone, and so many others. I keep up working out, playing golf, drinking good whisky. I plan on attending the 50th New Orleans Jazz Festival next month. I worked with Quint Davis for 12 years at the festival before leaving. All I can say is keep on keeping on, enjoy life and love everyone. I hope to update this when I hit 80
