Shae Agnew [last updated October, 2005] Waz up my fellow East High Mustangs! This is Shante Agnew hollerin at cha to let you know how life after graduating has been going. I am currently at school the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. It is very quite nice better than some of the previous seniors thought that it would be. The town is not boring it is more like a smaller and a little quieter version of Memphis. The people here are very welcoming, most of the ones I have met are. The classes are not too stressful but very different from high school. Being away from home is a little hard, you just have to do everything on your own and know how to budget you money. Well, I just wanted to let you all know how I'm doing and as you can see I'm doing quite okay. My advice to seniors is to pick your school wisely, learn how to network, and save your money starting now. College is expensive and don't let no other person tell you otherwise. Especially books. Make sure that you buy your books used if they are available; you can always sell them back. Well, its been nice chatting with you guys and I'll try to make time to write back. I know we just graduated, but to be honest, I still don't feel it yet. It honestly feels like we are just out of school for the summertime, and in August we will have to once again wait two weeks after school starts to get in our correct classes. I'm still seeing East people everywhere I go. Oh well, it will hit me sooner or later. As most of you know I will be attending UT Knoxville, along with about ten other East people. I am enjoying being single ( for all those who where thinking am I still involved) I am akso enjoying being independent and responsible. I am still a partier however, I still get all of my work done..I am proud to say I finished this semester with a 3.0 and hope to keep that up...
