As
a fully optional (magnet) school, East High does not currently have an
attenance zone. Students from anywhere in the county may apply to
attend.
The East High School Attendance Zone, School Year 2016-2017 (see below for 2017-2018)
As an optional school, students who live outside its attendance zone may also attend East.
2017-2018:
For the 2017-2018 school year: there is NO attendance zone for the ninth (9th) grade at East High. The ninth grade will be entirely part of the optional T-STEM program and admission to the ninth grade is by application only and is open to students county wide. Preference will be given to qualified students who live within two miles of the school for 50 percent of the available slots for the first 10 working days of the Optional Application process. The remaining slots will be open to students who qualify.
