The East High Alumni Page uses various resource
material to identify alumni and their families in newspaper articles,
obituaries, profile submissions, etc. The most frequently
used are East High yearbooks and student directories. However, we do
not have a comprehensive set of these documents and we would like to
ask anyone about to discard such material, or anyone otherwise in a
position to provide them, to consider donating the items to The
East High Alumni Page. In addition, while not as authoritative,
photocopies of these materials could be helpful to the editor(s).

| *Student directories were typically published in the autumn and dated as such. For example, the telephone directory dated 1961 was issued in the fall of 1961 and was for use during the 1961-62 school year. | **City Telephone Directories are dated in different ways. The printed date sometimes indicates "use after" a date, sometimes it just gives the year of issuance, other times it shows coverage spanning years (i.e. 2002-2003). We use the issuance date, which is usually the earliest date printed on the directory. | ||||||
