A revised policy and submission form for the Memories section.

Tell us one or more brief, true stories.

Important: our memories section is for brief paragraphs of stories about your East High experiences with which a broad group of class years can identify. If your memory does not meet this criteria, please submit it as part of your profile or profile update.

Please note that our Memories section is for the posting of memories from those who have registered (submitted a profile) to The East High Alumni Page.

Other recollections pertinent to a single class year should be in your personal profile or in a Class Classics section (if your class doesn't have a Class Classics's section, ask for one). Comments which are "inside jokes," so to speak, which share nothing with an audience broader than the immediate people involved also should be reserved for your personal profile. Memories which aren't sufficient in detail and/or do not relate to a broad group of people from a range of class years will not be included in the memories section. We do not suggest that such memories are not worthwhile on The East High Alumni Page. To the contrary, we encourage even those of narrow interest and inside jokes. We simply suggest they would be better included in your personal profiles or in a Class Classics section than in the Memories section.
