Hello fellow East High "Academy" alumni!
It has certainly been a long time, and I am very pleased to see that my alma mater has successfully moved into the new age of technology. What have I been up to? I left East and headed to St. Ambrose University for what was a very brief stay. I then married Edward McAllister ('93), also an East High graduate and we had a daughter (Shani). We have since lived in Arizona (where I attended Yavapai College), Florida (where I attended Bethune-Cookman College), and we have recently relocated to Dover, Delaware because of my husband's Air Force career. I am attending Delaware State University as an English Education major, and will graduate Fall 1999. I also develop web pages for the Division of Public Health here in Dover, and am in the process of starting my own business for web development and printing services. I look forward to hearing from any of you, as I hope you are all doing well. See you in 2001!

I am still residing in Memphis, TN. After I graduated I had had a little girl(Tujulia Kyesha Branay Fleming) on November 9, 1992 and got Married but currently seperated, and 3 years later I had a boy(Deadrick Dewayne Fleming) on May 17, 1995!!! As you can see I was a good girl in school, followed the rules, but when I graduated and began to explore the free world I got into a world of trouble as you can see. Well I also attended SSCC which is now Southwest and I haved worked in many fields from Cashiering, hotels, fed-ex, and now I am just watching my children grow and go to school hoping that they will follow me and graduate too!!!! Wishing everyday that I could just relive my 12th grade year and have fun like the rest did, I was always that quiet girl who never really talked to anyone, but I will never forget "Class of 91'" and most of all Catilla Bradley!!!(My Best Friend) So feel free to contact me at: 745-2674... See ya later!!!

After, returning from there I attended different schools and worked for the City of Memphis Police and Emergency Management Agency. I am currently pretty close to retirement from the US Army were I have been deployed several times. Yes, I am still in the medical field and I enjoy it a lot. Katina Gholson [last updated October, 1999]
I am extremely proud of East High and its accomplishments, especially The Class of `91. This website brings me much joy. First of all I want to say congatulations to all my classmates on their many wonderful blessings. Especially the mothers, I can't believe we're old enough to be them. I am currently in Raleigh, NC. working with Equity Residential Trust as a Property Manager. I plan to pursuit my MBA in fall of 2001 at either Meredith College or my alma mater Duke University. I look forward to seeing everyone at our reunion. Hopefully we won't be too old to remember the GOOD TIMES!! Miss you all, Katina

Nicole Hopkins [last updated October, 2005]
Hello to all, This is so cool to have this site to keep in touch. For those of you who do not remember me as Nicole or Tiny, Raymeri and I ran together. I am doing very well, of course by God's grace. I have been married for three years with my first born child, a son, his name is Brice and he is 6 months old. I graduated U of M law school in May 2004, pregnant in July 2004, delivered in March 2005. I am currently working for the State waiting bar results. Well I don't want to bore you all with many more details. Feel free to email me my lost buddies. The reunion was great. I hope we have a much better turnout on the next. Especially, because we are the best class that EAST HIGH ACADEMY!!!!! has ever produced.

Truman Hull [last updated June, 1999]
Hola!!!! I am so proud of my alma mater for this great idea!!! Well, after my great walk in the Cook Convention Center, Music Hall, I took a ride down US 78 to Atlanta to Morehouse College. I met many fellow alumni, Kolbe Sweeton, Derek Odom, and Phillip Jackson (all '89), who showed me the ropes of the Peach State. I was then given the opportunity to pass the torch to Joseph Robertson '92. I am presently back home, so if you have any questions, do not hestitate to ask.

Kenneth Ingram [last updated October, 1999]
"The Mustangs 'tis of thee. We're glad we're not '93 or '92. The Mustangs never die. We simply multiply. From the walls of East High let buckness ring." I thought I'd take a minute to get nostalgic. I took out the memory book and tried to remember those skinny kids. (yeah I ain't the only one who's put on a few pounds) I hadn't checked this site out in awhile. So, my profile was badly in need of an update. I now live in OHIO. I do statistical analysis for a phone company here. I look forward to seeing everyone at the reunion!

So it has been a busy summer. I am the Business Development Manager for an Internet Startup called class.com. This basically means I am in charge of strategic partnerships and things of this sort. So check out website and I am so excited about seeing everyone at the reunion next year! Peace and Blessings!

Mike Love [last updated October, 2008]
Well, well, well!! Just happen to run across this page and very happy to see that everyone is doing well! WOW!! Where do i begin....Well, when i graduated, I left and went to the Navy and married my now 16 year old son's mother. We were in San Diego then moved to Virginia Beach where at 21 I got divorced. I was continued to live there until i got out of the Military after ten years and moved to New York where I started flying with Delta. After about 4 years there, I left and went to D.C. and lived for a few years before coming back to Memphis for 3 years. I left and moved to Houston flying with Continental Airlines now. I am also currently writing a Non-fiction book that once out, you all pick up. I Still in touch with Gina Merriweather and speak all the time. A funny thing happened to me while visiting in Memphis last week. While in Memphis hanging out, a strange guy came up to me and asked if I was Mike Love. I asked why and he said that I treated him very bad in high school and I just couldn't figure it out. Oh well, it would be great to hear from many of you and my email addie is [see below]. Hope everyone is in good health and doing well. Stay in touch. LOVE ALL!!!! Mike Mike

Hi, fellow Mustang Alumni!!! I am SO happy to see this Web site! What a great way to see how former classmates are doing! I am so proud of all of you: the degrees you have earned, the accomplishments you have achieved. It's apparent that the 1991 class is still THE BEST EAST HIGH CLASS EVER! I attended The University of Memphis, where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Accounting in 1995 and my MBA in Accounting in 1997. I passed the CPA exam in May 1999. (It was my first sitting - yea!) I still live in Memphis and currently work for Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. See you in 2001 at our first class reunion. (Are we that old?!)

Big ups to East High! It's good to see East still being the leader that it has always been! Anyone remember me? (Played trumpet in the band? The kid that left for Andover?)
I'm happy to report that: I finished my BS in Computer Science at Morehouse in '94 and my MS in Computer Science at Duke in '96. Started full-time with Hewlett-Packard in Atlanta in '97. Got married in May '98.
I'd be glad to hear from any of my old classmates! Class of '91 in the house! I'm in Memphis as often as possible (like six or seven times a year!--Damn, I miss home!) Hit me with some email some time!
Later,
Meka

Katherine graduated a year early, in 1991, rather than this class of 1991 with which she was truly associated. Click here to see her profile on the Class of 1991 page.
